In a series of events, the city Mayor Hong Chi-wing and his family are sentenced to punishment for deceiving the locals but his daughter Hong Po-yin flees away and lives by the name of Hong Po-Kei under Prince Wai mansion.

The later part of the drama reveals how Hong Po-Yin manages to establish herself in the Wai using her business wisdom and persistence.
