Bleach

The non-credit opening video for the second cour of “BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc – Farewell Arc” has been unveiled. Tite Kubo, the original creator, and supervisor, handled the character costume designs.

Online, fans have expressed their enthusiasm for the characters’ modern-day casual outfits, with comments such as “The OP is too cool!”, “It’s got that BLEACH vibe!”, “This is it! Nostalgic and stylish,” and “The OP captures that old-school BLEACH vibe and looks fashionable.”

“Bleach,” which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, follows the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, the main protagonist who gains the power of a Soul Reaper after meeting Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper herself. The series showcases the adventures of Ichigo and his companions.

With over 130 million copies in print, “BLEACH” has expanded its reach through video games and a live-action film adaptation starring Sota Fukushi in 2018. The original TV anime series aired from 2004 to 2012. The “Thousand-Year Blood War Arc” is planned to cover the final story arc of the manga. The TV anime’s return after a 10-year hiatus began in October 2022, with the first cour airing from October to December.
