Mashle Magic and Muscles 1

The latest chapter of Hajime Kōmoto’s thrilling manga, Mashle: Magic and Muscles, has graced the pages of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, marking the end of an incredible saga. Fans can expect an explosive finale when the 18th and final compiled volume, accompanied by a fanbook, hits the shelves on October 4.

As the story reached its pinnacle, the 12th compiled volume signified the manga’s entry into its gripping final arc back in July 2022. Keeping up with the excitement, Shueisha treated readers to the 16th volume on April 4, with the 17th volume slated for release on Tuesday.

For English-speaking fans, both Viz Media’s Shonen Jump service and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service have been faithfully delivering the manga digitally. Viz Media has gone the extra mile by releasing physical copies as well. Let’s explore the enchanting world of Mashle, as described by Shueisha:

This is a world of magic where magic is used for everything. But deep in the forest exists a young man who spends his time training and bulking up. He can’t use magic, but he enjoys a peaceful life with his father. But one day, his life is put in danger! Will his muscular body protect him from the magic users who are out to get him? Powerfully trained muscles crush magic as this abnormal magical fantasy begins!

The journey of Mashle began in the illustrious pages of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan in January 2020. Accompanying the manga are two novels that delve deeper into this captivating universe, and there’s even an eagerly awaited stage play adaptation in the works.
